I have always thought of Texas dogs as tough pick-up riding dogs. I live in Southwest Tex and I have a whole collection of wind surfing dogs. This one in New Mexico warranted a photo and a post. The truck was cruising down a small ranch road at 65 miles per hour and the dog appeared to be sleeping. I never saw him move his head or open his eyes.

I wanted to get closer, but reading the stickers, and the NRA insignia made me think, it was fine to “shoot”  him from a distance.

Good doggie, and master, don’t shoot the nice man from Texas, arf, arf……….shoot straight on your journey††nada te turbe††jim
