MEXICAN HAT TRICK!!!
I was sitting on the ground trying hard to frame up this Mexican Hat (Ratibida columnifera), also know as Prairie coneflower. The wind was a whipping the flowers about and I was having a tough time holding focus. I sat up to breath and looked a bit to my left and low and behold there was a bloom that had not one, but three little Reakirt’s Blue (Echinargus isola) butterflies just a pollinating away.
I managed a few quick exposures of the moment and felt like I had scored a “hat trick”. OLE’!
