At long long last we have rain in West TX. The weather has cooled and we had a high in the upper 50′s today. Downright chilly for May in the high desert!

Last night a nice spring thunderstorm moved into our area. At 11:00pm, I set up my Nikon D300s and used a long ago purchased and unused lighting trip mechanism. It worked really nice for a cheap (err… inexpensive) China made electronic device.

This was a combination of 3 separate 6 second exposures.
