I love the mystery of looking at an image and trying to figure out if it is a sunrise, or a sunset. Is it the start of a day or the end of a day. Because it can get complicated. If you are nocturnal and it’s a sunrise it is the end of your “day’, where as if you are diurnal and it’s a sunrise, it is time to start your “day” !

There there is a third group, those that are active in the twilight: they are known as crepuscular. I think most of us photographers are of this group. The thought of just wandering around during dawn and dusk of God’s golden light hours would seem a very nice place to be.
