I always like and need the promise that comes both with the assurance of new that comes with the sunrise and the wink of reassurance from God at sunset.

I always want to have the faith of Job, but I end up more like Peter and deny more than three times before the rooster crows twice. Like Peter, I am full of promise but not always following through.

I would like to think I would be the first to jump out of the boat, but I probably have my face in  a barf bag and clinging to a life-vest.
