A majestic vista to the end of a road trip. All things must end. I hate that saying when it is something good, but I also lean on it when things are not so good.

We rode through the dust and wind from Mesilla NM to home in Alpine, TX. Turning south on US 90 from I10 in Van Horn we could see that we were probably going to get a great West TX welcome home sunset. Abba did not fail to provide a fitting close to our travels.

Our hearts had been a little down as the road was coming to an end, but the sunset lifted us right back to the remembrance that we are blessed where ever we happen to be. In this case it was just a few miles before Marfa Tx…………en theos†††jim
