flying the friendly skies

Little white butterfly

a soul or spirit in disguise

glowing in the dark

Little white butterfly

hovers with a spark

Little white butterfly

glides way beneath

Little white butterfly

lands safely upon a leaf

Little white butterfly

now on a pretty red rose

Little white butterfly

there away he goes

until the next morning without a word of a lie

outside my window gliding back and forth

was a Little White Butterfly.
