We pulled into a restaurant in Monahans TX today for lunch. It is West TX and there were more trucks (including mine) than cars. I was struck by the beauty of this working man’s vehicle. Complete with a red healer who had a color coordinated collar. Evidential the dog or owner had never seen the movie “Steel Magnolias” and heard Claire (played by Olympia Dukakis) declare: “The only thing that separates us from the animals is our ability to accessorize.”

I feel good when both my socks are the same color!
