I have been thinking a lot about the choice we all have about the narrow door or the narrow gate.

Matthew has it as the gate: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

Luke has it as the door (depending on which version of the bible you read, KJV has Luke defining it as a gate): “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.” Luke 13:24

Mark does not mention the gate or the door.

Any how, as Luke and Matthew tell you, be it the gate or the door, only a few seem to be able to either find it or get through it.

I’m still a looking, but those freeways while they are faster,  the blue roads are so much more interesting…..either way, make sure you pay the toll!

  1. Beautiful picture, Jim, and a wonderful word……….blesses me so much to hear you speak of God’s word!

    1. Judi, Judi, Judi………..thanx for the ever so kind words. Our Father just keeps putting His beauty in front of me. So good to hear from you, I have thought of you often from our “Talefeather & Crest” days. I have such fond memories of that time. I learned so much, and Ms Pollard, how I would love to be able to find her and thank her for all her support, she was the only teacher I had that supported and believed in me. She kept me going and truly made a difference in my life………..en theos ††† jim
