Images of small things from the biggest county in Texas- #510 – Don’t look behind you as there is always someone with bigger antenna gaining on you!

I found this specimen (that sounds so impersonal) munching his way across the top edge of a prickle pear paddle (cladodes). On editing and processing, it appeared there was another larger bug creeping up from the rear.  It is however just the smaller hair like prickles (glochids) growing from small button like appendages.
