When Spielberg created his idea of the likeness of an alien being, ET, I just can’t help but think he turned to our inner or small world for inspiration. In a way they are almost aliens, at least to our eye. We walk past their worlds everyday, rarely taking the time to explore or even notice them.

Kind of like the homeless man I catch out of the corner of my eye. Aged and bend by the weight of his parallel universe. But I, have some place to be, something important to do and I just don’t want to bother to even see beyond my own nose.
