It had been a hard two days of doing sports portraits in Monahans Tx. This kind of work has been very good to me and while it feeds my pocketbook, it takes a toll on my heart and the work I have been called to produce. I am striving to produce images that glorify and reflect the imagination and beauty of our Great creator.
I was bone tired and weary yet my Master called me to pull off the road, stop and see what he wanted to show me. I am so grateful that I listened. On a route that I have traveled over a thousand times, He always has something up his sleeve to lift my spirit and renew my course.
I was just flabbergasted at the view with the semi-fish eye lens. A lens I carry, but rarely find an effective use for. But here it gave me the feel that I was looking at a small cross on a fence and the whole almost globe-like world was there for me to wonder.
