He replied, “You know the saying, ‘Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow, 3 red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You are good at reading the weather signs in the sky, but you can’t read the obvious signs of the times!    Matthew 16:2-3

I had heard this expression all my life, “Red sky at night sailors delight, red sky at morn sailors take warn”. I also have read Matthew several times and my mind must surely have drifted as I did not know that this saying was that old and that it came from the lips of Jesus.
