I was hard pressed to find something in the yard to photograph. As usual, if you just work with what you find, you can be amazed by what you find.

This little fellow (I think a fruit fly of sorts) was unlike  others of which I kept trying to catch an image. He sat on this little (1/4inch) bloom going to seed and let me get as close as I wanted without trying to fly off.

In editing I found he was either busy blowing a bubble or partaking of some food. A got reason to not take flight.
