Being from the desert Southwest, I am still adapting to my new environment. I am not used to seeing and having so many things that grow. They grow to the point of being out of control.

Trumpet vine in just one of these plant. It attaches to most any surface and seems to grow by the foot daily. We have some in our backyard that has traveled from the neighbors yard. It has entwined itself amongst the equally invasive bamboo which also grows in abundance. It is a difficult task to attempt to rid oneself of either of the two of these plants.

Yet, the trumpet vine can look so appealing. At least when it is growing somewhere else. In your own yard It quickly morphs from appealing to appalling…monos en theos…†…jim
