May the light slowly fill in your shadows today.

“Little one living among the shadows dark
Waiting seemingly for that one dear true spark
Filled with love concern and grace
What sort of anxieties or despairs must you face
You shine your light as bright as you are able
But are met with brokenness of life unstable
Feelings of loneliness surround you each day Searching for someone, something to show you the way
Back to the joy you once knew days ago
Days that you remember but are missing so
Oh little one may you find your way back
To the heart filled with hope that you once had”

I found this poem but I do not know who wrote it, but it sums up my feelings for this day.

The Death of Jesus

At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). Mark 15:33-34
