Shades of Gray from Grayson Co, TX #812 – PLACE SETTING FOR ONE

As I walk, I am always seeing, finding strayed objects. Most have been far removed from their intended purpose and place. They are beat up. Abused and flattened, far from what they were supposed to be.

Some lay crushed in the road, others are walking on two legs.

What are you leaving behind?

“We will be known forever by the tracks we leave.” Dakota proverb

“All that is gold does not glitter; not all those that wander are lost.” J R R TOLKIEN

It sure makes me feel good that I am not lost amongst all my wandering.

I love Tolkien, imagine the conversations that he and C S Lewis had. Talk about wanderers not lost!

Hope you find some gold today ††† en theos ††† jim work

I have been wandering a desert for the last week. It is very much like walking in sand, your shoes get filled and heavy. Each step just seems to be followed by one more step. The direction is vague and the destination  unknown.

“But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.”   Robert Frost
