Shades of Gray from Grayson Co, TX #827 – OUT OF THE EGG

I found the remains of this bird egg on my morning walk.

I looked up but could not see from where it fell.

The thickness of the casing caused me to marvel

At how hard it can be to come out of our shells

Shades of Gray from Grayson Co, TX #761 – Looks like a fossil, but it is not!

I get as easily distracted as my dogs at all the new things that pass by our eyes.

My dogs are having a real hard time trying to figure out what purpose squirrels are to serve other than to chase.

Me, just about anything that I am not used to seeing will most certainly deter me from my appointed task. The simple form of the shell of a snail leads me into a world of amazement and wonder. Ah, mindfulness is a great place to be wherever you happen to be.

Enjoy what you see…..monos en theos †† jim
