It was very fitting that the air was filled with these white beauties yesterday. I guess they, along with my Granddaughter (LJ) somehow knew it was going to rain. I followed this turquoise eyed one to a bush just full of new life: blooms, bees, and butterflies.
It was a great sign of the rebirth that lives just waiting to emerge.

What a treat. Just beautiful. Thank you. Your photos always make my day, along with your humorous additions. 🙂
Wow, so vivid. I have not seen one with turquoise eyes! I am amazed that the flower is out of focus but we can still see the definition in each leg! and the antennae. Awesome!!!
Shelia……thanx, I think that first out of focus flower is in front of the butterfly. You can see the bloom he is sitting on at his feet. It was exposed at 1/250 @ f 14 200iso. Used a 105 micro at about 1:1 ratio prob about 8-10 inches away. Taken with my new Nikon D800, raw files, and it has just amazing resolution……..Happy Easter………en theos….jim
His eyes did blow me away, I didn’t see them when I was making the photo. I was more concentrating on trying to hold focus….j
Great shot!
